Ireland was one of the twenty-two teams competing on the season 1 of the GPGNC, they were a middle team during season 1, finishing the championship with 25 points at 14th, despite the modest results, they were able to win one race at Istanbul, after the season, team boss and driver William Ward decided to leave the team to establish his own team, Sweden.

Season 2

The Irish government was approached by former New Zealand's boss Dan Paddock, and after everything was signed, he became the new boss of the team Ireland, but season 2 proved to be a horrible one, with only 7 points made and only the 22th position at the championship. The Irish government was so upset with Paddock that they terminated their agreement after just one season.

Season 3

After the disaster of the season 2, team Ireland contracted a new boss, Stuart Ingers, and he promoted the young Críostóir Taytoh as the new driver of the team. During season 3 Ireland was always strong, and despite not winning a race, they were able to finish in 6th, with 64 points.

Season 4

Following the great season 3, Ireland was considered to be one of the title contenders for the season 4, but after just 6 race, team boss Stuart Ingers revealed that the team was being deactivated.

Season 5

After being deactivated in the beginning of Season 4, Ireland comeback in Race 6 (Montenegro GP), with a new driver Daly Tyrson and manage a impressive 10th place in the end of the season with 12 races, two second places, and two Pole Positions. Not bad all for a return in the middle of the season.
