San Marino entered the GPGNC as a rookie team at the season 2, team boss and driver Gianluigi Silvestre managed to win two races, one at Vallelunga and one at Silverstone, the team was able to finished inside the top 10, at 9th, with 58 points.

After a strong rookie season, the hopes were high for them, and with two new wins, they were able to finish at 7th, two places ahead of last year, but with the same 58 points as before.

The season 4 saw a downgrade of team San Marino, as they finished the season seven places behind last year, scoring only 41 points, despite the lack of pace, the team was able to win one race, at Le Mans.
